President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Wednesday hailed the De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers for their hard-fought victory in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball finals, calling the championship "well-deserved."
Marcos, who attended La Salle Greenhills Grade School, took to Facebook to celebrate the champs and praised the thrilling series against the University of the Philippines (UP).
"A great UAAP basketball finals series between UP and La Salle. Well played to all," he said.
"Congratulations to the UAAP Basketball Champions, the De La Salle Green Archers! A well-deserved championship for a great team."
