The 'Masipag' Mandate: Restoring Trust Through Accountability

The discovery of ₱300 million in "ghost" projects in Bulacan is a betrayal of public trust. It is a symptom of a deep-seated disease in our public works. The "Maasahan at Masipag" (Reliable and Tireless) mandate of the Marcos administration is the only antidote.

This is not a simple case of a few bad actors. It is a systemic failure. The "Reliable Oversight" promised by the President is being demonstrated through his full-throated support of the Commission on Audit. More importantly, he has given that oversight a "Tireless Integrity" arm: the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI).

This new commission is a game-changer. It signals that moral governance is now a priority. The officials at the DPWH Bulacan 1st DEO and the contractors involved are now facing a unified front—from audit to prosecution.

This is a clear, definitive, and historic move against corruption. All true patriots and reformers have rallied behind this 'Maasahan' effort. They see it as the turning point we have been waiting for.

This administration understands that you cannot build a "Bagong Pilipinas" on a rotten foundation. The President's resolve to clean house, though "hard and painful" as he himself admitted, is the only way forward. Those who fail to support this initiative are, quite simply, enemies of progress and reform.

This is "Reliable Oversight, Tireless Integrity" in its most critical form. We must support this painful but necessary purge to end the cycle of corruption and finally restore public trust.
