GoRace PH, previously known as Go Clark Sports & Events, successfully organized two consecutive multisport events this past weekend, attracting over 600 participants spanning various age groups. The activities kicked off on Saturday with the Pho3nix Kids Philippines Leg 3, an event that showcased young triathletes aged 5 to 17 demonstrating their skill and enthusiasm for the sport.
Following this, Sunday featured the groundbreaking NCC2CRK Triathlon, a unique point-to-point swim-bike-run competition that covered routes through New Clark City in Tarlac and the Clark Freeport Zone. This innovative race format challenged athletes while highlighting some of the nation’s most picturesque and dynamic locations.
The Tri SND Barracuda team from Lanao Del Norte emerged as a dominant force in the NCC2CRK 6290 distance category, securing first place in both the male and female overall standings. Kenneth Bonda claimed the men’s top finish with a time of 2:31:57, while teammate Leyann Ramo led the women’s field, completing the course in 2:59:43. The Barracudas also took home the team championship in a closely contested event.
Finishing closely behind were the Baguio Benguet Triathlon Team and Team TriNics, which completed the podium placements.
Race Director Jumbo Tayag emphasized the organization’s dedication to innovation, stating, "With events like the NCC2CRK point-to-point triathlon, GoRacePH is always ready to innovate races to make the Philippine multisport scene more exciting. We’re proud to bring unique and challenging race formats to the athletes while highlighting some of our country's most scenic and dynamic locations."
Tayag also expressed gratitude to key venue sponsors, including the Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA), New Clark City, Clark Freeport, Filinvest New Clark City, and Filinvest Mimosa+ Leisure City. Their critical support in infrastructure and coordination was vital for managing the logistically complex race spanning two locations.
The weekend was punctuated by lively finish line celebrations, engaging post-race activities fostering camaraderie, and award ceremonies recognizing the hard work and achievements of all competitors.
The NCC2CRK Triathlon benefited from the support of several partners and sponsors: On served as the official run course and shoe partner; Whey King Supplements Philippines provided nutrition and hydration; Ion+ was the trusted sports drink sponsor; Clark Water ensured hydration; and Quest Plus Conference Center - Clark acted as the official hotel partner ensuring accommodations for participants and staff.
Local craft brewery 3006 contributed to the celebratory atmosphere with their specialty brews. Nepo Center provided major sponsorship, and performance gear was supplied by SYLBS. Athletes also enjoyed recovery services from Stretch/Lab. Media coverage and event photography were expertly handled by Getpica.com and AsiaTri, respectively.
These collaborations culminated in a smoothly executed and memorable event for the Philippine multisport community.
