MANILA, Philippines — Veteran volleyball player Royce Tubino has officially signed with Strong Group Athletics (SGA) after parting ways with Choco Mucho. The team announced the acquisition on social media, describing the addition as a "sweet signing."
At this time, it remains unclear whether Tubino will be assigned to one of SGA’s teams, either the Farm Fresh Foxies or the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles. Regardless of the team, her presence is expected to bring immediate positive influence due to her vast background in the sport.
"The veteran brings leadership and experience to power our young squad," the franchise noted, highlighting her value beyond skills.
Tubino, 32, embarks on her eighth professional team in a career spanning 14 years. She previously played for several clubs including Cagayan Valley, Cignal, Army, United Volleyball Club, Sta. Lucia, and PLDT. Her wealth of experience is anticipated to be a crucial asset for her new team.
